Can You Trust The FDA?

The US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulates the supply chain of food and drugs in the market for safety considerations and suitability for human consumption. Our own BFAD takes its cue from this agency. Therefore, it is wise to understand how this US agency operates so that we will have an idea of how our own BFAD behaves. Remember, the assumption is that both these agencies are serving the welfare of the people they’re sworn and mandated to serve.

It is also very interesting to note that our medical profession would almost always respond with the phrase “It’s FDA approved”, every time a patient expresses some doubts on the safety of a particular product, as if all FDA-approved products are indeed safe for use or consumption. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Here’s one case between Monsanto and FoxNews:

… and Rupert Murdoch, owner of FoxNews, did confirm that they sometimes control the flow of information in some way to “set the agenda”…

So, who should be the one looking at your own safety?

You should be.

You should be responsible for your own safety and your family’s well-being. Nobody else will.

Not even the institutions, you trust, will do that for you.
